China Xiamen Evening News reported on the
foam recycling point in Haicang District, and this new recycling point is
placing a brand new EPS
foam densifier GreenMax’s foam
recycling equipment has attracted another wave of attention in Xiamen. As the
designated partner for the integration of two networks in many places, INTCO Recycling
once again proved with its strength that foam recycling is not difficult at
all.
Nowadays, with the popularity of online
shopping, many things are wrapped in EPS Foam, so a lot of waste EPS Foam is
generated. However, almost no one is willing to recycle these waste foam, they
cannot be sold for money, and they take up space, so they can only be put into
low-value recyclable buckets in the community. Now vigorously promote garbage
classification and reuse of recyclable resources. Foam garbage is actually a
recyclable resource. It is really distressing to be wasted in vain.
After referring to the two-network fusion
foam recycling points in many places, Haicang Urban Construction Municipal
Company introduced a GreenMax EPS foam densifier and placed it in the Dongfu Tianzhu Clean Building. In the eyes of municipal
people, this machine is like the Hulk, a Hercules. As long as the foam is
thrown into the feeding mouth of the machine, the equipment can use the
pressure generated by the spiral rotation to compress the foam, and the
processed foam ‘bricks’ are then transported out through the track, like a big
white sausage. The compression ratio is 50:1, that is to say, a van carrying
about 1323lb of EPS foam can compress the volume of less than 5 basketballs,
which is a 1-meter-long cuboid.
In the report of the Xiamen Evening News,
it was specially written that when the machine was working, there was no
roaring noise except for the sound of froth breaking, and there was no smoke or
smell during processing. As an environmental protection company, GreenMax’s equipment
is designed to avoid noise pollution and other pollution during use as much as
possible. The purpose of compression is to facilitate transportation and
storage, increase capacity and save costs. The EPS foam densifier has a processing capacity of up to 100 kilograms per hour, and the compressed
foam will be shipped directly to a low-value recyclables processing company for
resource recycling and reuse.
Xiamen’s foam recycling point is not the
first cooperative project outside of INTCO Recycling Shanghai. The previous
project in Zhuhai, Guangdong also chose INTCO Recycling recycled foam recycling
