Although faced with sorting problems, thermoformed PET recycling in North America has been increasing.
American PET Container Recycling Association (NAPCOR) and the American Association of Plastic Recyclers (APR), a report pointed out that the recycling of PET thermoforming increased by 70% in the United States and Canada over the previous year, in 2014, over 100 million recycled pound thermoformed PET.

Now, there is a new recycling method that uses GREENMAX recycling machine to recycle and compress PET bottles in market. First, put PET bottles into GREENMAX Poseidon series machine. This machine will separate water from bottle, wring moisture, compress plastic bottles, and then by the screw extruder. This recycling process has been large-scale use in the global market.
