Approach to turn EPE foam to “pearl”

EPE Foam is a lightweight, closed cell foam most commonly used in packaging, for impact and shock absorption, vibration dampening, and surface protection.

It is easily shaped, formed and cut to size. EPE is dust-free, and non abrasive. In roll form EPE is also used for thermal insulation. Generally,  electrical assembly companies will have this EPE foam.

How to turn EPE foam into “pearl” ?

For some LCD TV assembly companies, many of their TV’s assembly parts will be packed with EPE foam through transporting to the factory. Under normal circumstances they will directly throw away the waste EPE foam or give the EPE foam to other recyclers. This solution actually can not take full advantage of the value of EPE foam.
